Hi,
I applied for EAD Renewal on DEC-18 2009 ( posted to Nebraska Service Center)
It has been a month I havent received any Receipt or RFE and check for fee has not been cashed
My EAD will expire on March-15th-2010
What to do in this sitiuation?
Is there any customere service No to reach ?
Do i need to reapply ? Did anybody encounter similar situation. If so please let me know what you have done

There won't be any issues.
BTW, whats your port of entry.
While leaving take all appropriate documents like Paystubs, Employment Verification Letter etc and also you vacation approvel details if needed.

The last time i spoke with my lawyer he said. we dont the stautus of my brothers h1 yet as even thought they closed the dates in May they are holding some cases in case the existing cases which got receipt are denied then they will consider new cases from the lot.
I dont know what this means????
Is there a possibility of H1 cases are being in pending status without any receipt from USCIS.????

Receipt notices for 485 ead ap is be receipt date ,,,not COuntry of origin or PD
ur 485 approval will depend on ur PD...and until Oct 2007 all VISAS are unavailable...so atleast till Oct 2007 ur 485 will not be approved...
Read up on the process meanwhile and educate urself

Thank you for your prompt replay. It helped me a lot. Since it is my first time applying for H1 I'm really lost.
I have one more question. Do you know where I can check the deadlines for the H-1. I heard this year the H-1 would be filled by the end of june and I'm scared I didn't find an employer yet to sponsorship me.

I have EAD through my wifes employment under Eb3 category with a PD 2005. we are expecting a baby in september, so
There is an option to avail a child care leave(4 years) and the employer will hold the job as this is official policy of the organization that belongs to a state government.Will there be a problem then being in AOS and not working and moreover recently received a RFE for EVL 2 weeks ago and we submitted it already?

The only difference is if you work for the univ on a cap exempt H1b and than transfer to industry on a cap H1b then you would have to go through the lottery or masters quoto whatever applies...however there is a loophole in this and I have read somewhere that when you apply for a transfer for a cap exempt to cap subject USCIS have goofed up and let it go through

Did you write to the Ombudsman in form 7001 about 140 delay ( other thread ). I sent it yesterday. When did you file 140 at NSC ?

this is a standard reply when we enquire about a case.
I had enquired about 140 and got the same message. Then took an infopass and there the IO told there is nothing at 140 level and what I got is a standard reply .

What is the position mentioned in the LC for your previous job? IMHO, it does not matter what the title is. As long as the job description is the same, you should be OK.
I had "part time Oracle developer" in the LC but the letter I got just said "Oracle developer" and mentioned that is was part time (20 hrs/ wk). I don't think it is such a big deal.
